Four leading promoters have teamed up with the American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) to launch the inaugural West Coast Championship series, designed to elevate flat track racing across the region. This exciting collaboration aims to bring together top talent, foster competitive spirit, and provide thrilling events for riders and fans alike.
The championship will span multiple events, with points awarded at each race based on performance. Riders will accumulate points over the course of the series, creating an intense battle for the top spots. The scoring system is structured to reward consistency and excellence, ensuring every race counts toward the final standings.
Championship Awards and Prizes:
- The top three riders in each class will receive prestigious awards, recognizing their achievement in the series.
- For the Open Expert class, the top three overall riders will split a generous purse of $4,000.00, adding an extra layer of excitement and incentive for elite competitors.
Race Payback Structure:
- Each individual race will feature a payback for 50% of the main event riders. For example, if there are 12 riders in the main event, there will be 6 payback positions.
- Payback amounts are based on the entry fees collected for the race. Specifically for the Open Expert class, 75% of the entry fees will be paid back to the qualifying riders, ensuring fair and substantial rewards.
